Who This Policy Covers

This privacy policy explains how Added Advantage handles information collected through addedadvantagehomecare.com. It applies to the pages on this website, including project inquiry forms, care-plan inquiries, newsletter subscription, and unsubscribe requests.

Added Advantage is a home improvement studio. We paint, refinish and install floors, refresh kitchens and baths, and plan color and trim. This policy is about information, not about a promise that a particular project will be accepted. A project begins only when a written scope is agreed.

If you email us directly, the same principles apply to that message: we use it to understand your rooms and to reply, and we do not sell it.

Information You Choose To Send

The forms on this website ask for information you type yourself. Depending on the form, that may include your name, email address, the type of home improvement work you are considering, a description of the rooms, and a confirmation that we may write back. Newsletter forms ask for an email address and permission to send occasional notes. Unsubscribe forms ask for the email address that should stop receiving those notes and, if you offer it, a reason.

We do not ask you to submit a phone number or a street address through these forms. Please do not add payment card numbers, government identification numbers, or health information to a project note. A description of a kitchen, a floor, or a paint color is enough for a first reply.

If you include photographs by email after we reply, those images are used to understand the space. They are not used as public portfolio pieces unless you later agree in writing that a photograph of your home may be shown.

You can choose how much to write. A short note is still a complete inquiry. Extra detail about how a room is used — cooking, pets, children, a room that must stay open — helps us propose a realistic sequence, and it remains part of the project conversation.

Messages We Send You

If you submit an inquiry, we use your email address to reply. The reply may ask clarifying questions, suggest a sample approach, or explain whether the work fits our studio. That correspondence is part of providing the service you requested.

If you join the newsletter, we use your email address to send occasional letters about color, flooring, preparation, and room planning. The letters are infrequent and seasonal rather than daily. Each letter is identified as coming from Added Advantage.

Transactional messages about a form you just submitted, such as a confirmation that we received a note, are part of answering you. Newsletter messages are optional and stop when you unsubscribe.

How We Use Project Details

Room descriptions are used to prepare an outline: which surfaces, what prep might be required, which materials to discuss, and how the work might be sequenced. We may keep those notes so that a later message from you does not start from zero. If you painted a hallway with us and later ask about a kitchen, the earlier color notes are useful and we retain them for that reason.

We do not use your project story for unrelated advertising profiles. We do not sell inquiry lists. We do not trade homeowner notes with other contractors.

Staff and crew leads who need the information to estimate, schedule, or perform the work may see it. A flooring lead may read the part about the floor. A color specialist may read the part about light and existing finishes. Access is limited to people doing the work.

Newsletter Records

When you subscribe, we keep the email address, the date of the request, and the fact that you confirmed you wanted the notes. If the form also collects a name, we keep the name so the letter can address you.

When you unsubscribe, we keep a minimal record that the address opted out, so a later import or a mistaken resubscription does not quietly start the letters again. We do not keep the contents of old newsletters in your file beyond ordinary email logs on the systems that sent them.

You may subscribe again later with the same address. A new, clear request is enough. Unsubscribing from the newsletter does not cancel a project you have already agreed in a separate written scope. Those are different relationships.

Information Collected Automatically

Like most websites, the server that delivers these pages may record technical data such as browser type, general device category, the page requested, and the time of the request. This data is used to keep the site available, to understand which pages are useful, and to diagnose errors.

We do not use that technical log to build a dossier about your home. It is not tied to a project note unless you submit a form in the same session and the hosting system stores them together as ordinary web logs.

This website is designed as a static set of pages. Forms are checked in your browser and then show a thank-you message on the page. If a future version of the site stores submissions on a server, this policy will be updated before that change, and the form will say so.

Cookies And Similar Storage

A cookie is a small text file a site can store on your device. This marketing site does not require an account and does not set advertising cookies. If the host or a font provider stores a strictly necessary technical cookie to deliver the page or the typeface, that cookie is used only to present the site.

Your browser may store this page in its own cache. That is controlled by your browser, not by a profile we maintain. You can clear cached files and site data in the browser settings without affecting a project scope that was agreed by email.

We do not respond to interest-based advertising signals because we do not run interest-based advertising through this site. Email letters, if you opted in, are the only ongoing messages.

How Long We Keep Information

Inquiry emails and form details are kept while a conversation is active and for a reasonable period afterward so we can answer follow-up questions, honor a warranty conversation about workmanship, and keep color or floor specifications accurate if you return.

If you ask us to delete a casual inquiry and no project was agreed, we delete or anonymize the message unless we must keep a copy to meet a legal duty or to record that you unsubscribed. Specifications for completed work may be kept longer so we can match a touch-up paint or a floor finish later. Tell us if you want those specifications limited.

Unsubscribe suppressions are kept for as long as we send newsletters, because the point of the record is to honor the refusal.

Server logs rotate on the schedule set by the host. We do not build a separate permanent archive of technical logs for marketing.

Sharing With Others

We do not sell personal information. We share it only in these limited ways: with crew members who need it to do the work; with a hosting or email provider who processes it strictly to deliver the website or the message; and if the law requires a disclosure.

Material suppliers may be told product quantities and colors. They do not need your private story. We avoid sending a homeowner’s full note to a supplier. If a specialty item must be ordered in your name, we ask you first.

If the studio were ever to reorganize, project records needed to finish agreed work could transfer to a successor who continues those commitments. A newsletter list would transfer only with the same unsubscribe promise.

Links to social networks in the footer are sharing links for this website’s address. If you use them, you are using that network’s own service, and their policy applies to what you do there. We do not receive your social password.

Security

We take reasonable care to limit who can read project email and to avoid collecting data we do not need. No website or inbox can promise perfect security. Do not send sensitive financial information in a project form.

You can reduce risk on your side by using a current browser and by being cautious with unexpected messages. We will not ask you, by email, to send a password or a payment card in order to “confirm” an inquiry. Proposals and invoices, if a project proceeds, are handled in the written scope we agree, not through a surprise link.

Your Choices

You may ask what inquiry information we hold about your email address, ask for a correction, or ask us to delete a note that did not become a project. Write to hello@addedadvantagehomecare.com from the same address so we can be confident the request is yours.

You may unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time on the unsubscribe page linked in the footer, or by replying to a newsletter with a clear request to stop. We honor that request.

You may decline to provide optional detail. Required fields exist only so a form can be answered — a name and email on an inquiry, an email on a subscription. If you do not want to send them, you do not have to use the form.

Because some records are kept in email, deletion means removing them from active mailboxes and lists we control. Residual copies may remain for a short time in backups that are overwritten on a cycle.

Children

Our work is for households improving rooms, and the website is meant for adults who can agree to a project. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child sent a form, email us and we will delete it.

Other Websites

This site may link to social sharing tools or to typefaces loaded from a font host so the pages display as designed. Those services receive the technical request your browser makes. We do not control their policies. Review them if you want to understand their role.

A finished project does not require you to create an account on this website. There is no public profile and no customer portal on these pages.

Changes To This Policy

If we change how information is collected or used, we will update this page and change the effective date below. If a change would use newsletter addresses for a new purpose, we will ask for a fresh agreement rather than assuming the old one covers it.

Continuing to browse after an update does not, by itself, subscribe you to anything. Subscriptions happen only through the subscribe form or a similarly clear request.

Effective date: 5 October 2026. Questions about this policy can be sent to hello@addedadvantagehomecare.com. Please use email. We do not publish a telephone number or a street address for privacy requests.
